Abused & Neglected is Crossover Metal band from Czechia. It has been on the scene since 2015 & Recorded 4 studio Abums & 1 Live DVD.Everything the band publishes is on their own expense and they cooperate with MetalGate eshop, where you can buy some of their merchandise and copies (according to stock).

Abused & Neglected is a band that was formed by converting the Lucas Ronald Style project. It was a solo work by Lucas (founder of Notion Deep). Under the heading of the project L.R.S. in August 2015, the band recorded the demo For my selectors.
In 2016, he replaced the original drummer, Maty Buriánek. The group bonded and thus laid the foundation of a new full-fledged band. They played together, still under the name Lucas Ronald Style Project, their spring Supporting metal Tour 2017. Ended with a performance alongside the legendary Blaze Bayley in Brno on Melodka on 29/04/2017.
After this concert, the band officially introduces themselves as Abused & Neglected and in May 2017 they debut with the recording Undestructible. However, Abused & Neglected does not linger and at the end of the same year it closes again in the studio.
This time they chose The barn studio for recording, which is owned by Dan Friml (frontman Mean Messiah) and under his leadership the band is releasing their next album Enlivened on 14.1.2018. On this occasion, Abused & Neglected will set off on their tour, and even though the vast majority of performances are planned for the Czech Republic, the band does not forget to visit the neighboring countries of Austria, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.
At the end of 2018, guitarist Jirka Látal, who was behind all the music creation, leaves the band. Drummer Maty Buriánek, who accepted an offer from the band Hanibal Lecter, is also leaving soon. However, both former members remain friends with the Abused & Neglected members and are in close contact. Tomáš Kopecek (EX. Blackened Snake) filled the empty position of the guitarist and freely continued the work of Jirka Látal. Throughout 2019, the band was looking for a drummer, whom they found in Radim Bittner at the end of the year. At the moment when the line-up was complete, the preparation of the new record took off faster, ending with a week, already in the enlightened studio The barn and again under the leadership of Dan Friml (Mean Messiah). Abused & Neglected recorded their third album, Loading Stranger Things, on 28 June 2020, in which Jirka Látal participated as a consultant and co-author of most of the songs. This is the band's first concept album, in which Lucas lyrically deals with the issue of human domestication, his removal from the natural environment, the influence of modern technology on mental and physical health, the return to a more traditional way of life and finally finding balance.
Unfortunately, the planned tour had to be postponed due to anti-epidemic measures. However, the band did not lose hope and they wanted to use the time gained to polish the songs that were to be included in a setlist that was at least an hour and a half long. However, the tension in the band escalated. Irregular exams and the resulting incoherence made everyone sick. In the spring of 2021, the band faced a difficult decision and had to say goodbye to two band members. Tomáš Kopecek and Radim Bittner.
After some time of searching, guitarist Lukáš Kaleta was accepted into the ranks of Abused & Neglected. The band recovered and after several meetings, drummer Mata Buriánek returned. Strengthened in this way, Abused & Neglected will go on a tour of clubs and other events in 2022.
Last year there was a tour that was delayed due to the COVID measures. It was the Tour for the 3rd album (Loading stranger things). Which ended on 7/1/2023 in the famous club Melodka Brno. was immortalized on DVD (Live and energetic).
12.6.2023 the 4th album (Tofall a sleep is like to die) was released, after the release of the album Jakub Szymsza left the band and his guitar was taken over by Lukáš Oramus, with whom the band is going on tour throughout the Czech Republic and abroad this year with the name (Dont Sleep (Don't Die Tour)
