This combo of 3 around Marco Marouco, who is responsible for guitar and bass, greets us from the Algarve, almost on the Spanish border. Since it's so sunny there, this second work is rather semi-dark, but therefore quite underground and should therefore also appeal to true metal fans, especially since Pedro Fialho Jesus' vocal coloration often comes across as very brucy. However, the compositions are all on the slow side and have little to do with MAIDEN. You're not yet one of the spearheads of Epic Doom, but after a few runs I'm starting to like the whole thing, especially in combination with a Burmester Colheita 2011 vintage. If in the future all songs can convey that certain something of emotion like the opener 'Heart Of Dead Ashes', the elegiac 'Frozen Lassitude', the play tip 'Bog Whsipers' or the balladesque beginning 'A Stroll Along The Shoreline', performed by a guest singer, then the Portuguese could go all the way down the road to victory. After unexpected good vibes from radios all around the globe, many good reviews from webzines, magazines and blogs, in Portugal was considered record of the month by Caminhos Metálicos, in Germany Epic Metal Blog gave a
90 in 100 On The Loose is in constant spinning in Austria Seeds of Doom radio show. On The Loose is back bringing a full NWOBHM/DOOM album with 9 tracks. The album was produced by Portuguese underground master Paulão. Paulão worked with many underground bands like Ironsword, Ravensire, Filii Nigrantium infernalium, Perpetrator, Midnight Priest and almost all Portuguese punk bands, from Albert Fish to Mata Ratos.
