Soul Reborn is a solo-project started by the Milanese multi-instrumentalist Stefano Pelosi , who, initially influenced by music giants such as, I read from the biography, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd , shifts his inspiration to bands of the caliber of Iron Maiden , Megadeth , but above all little guys like Behemoth , Aborted and Gojira . In fact, the result of his efforts that we can see in his work is much closer to a technical/melodic death metal.

'Black Tear in a river of Blood' , released in the summer of this year, is a work that consists of nine very aggressive and breathless songs.

A blow over fifty minutes long that already from the opener 'Our Era' highlights sharp guitars and growl voice, under a digital drum base that frankly does its thing, and leaves no way out.

Apocalyptic and with some surprise pig squeal is the following 'A Perfect Choice' , a leap into chaos that gives us a moment of peace only in the solo section. A good mix of brutality and melody with the homonymous 'Black Tear in a river of Blood' , from the guitar with rough flavors and the trembling picking in the rhythm section, for a long but flowing song. 'Something Awakens' proposes various stop & go in the opening, to then distribute in a more solemn way one's anger dictated by a claustrophobic rhythmic guitar and a thousand pedals topped off by a voice more tending towards an efficient screaming. Full of Wrath is also ' My Personal Hell', where vocals and guitar move in unison, spewing torment and despair in equal measure, for a track whose distortions hit like a heavy machine gun.

'Black Tear in a River of Blood' is a record that gets straight to the point, mixing nastiness with a melodic side dutifully placed in the background, and constantly proposing thoughtful atmospheres of anger, repression and frustration. A work that does not lie, addressed to a very specific audience, and which will certainly please lovers of violence and technique. - italiadimetallo

Stefano Pelosi (aka Stige76 on Youtube) and Soul Reborn is a one-man band solo project. Stefano takes care of writing the songs, the lyrics, production and mixing. He plays all the instruments except the drum, which he composed with superior drummer 3, and he has an external singer to sing the songs. Mastering is entrusted to Imperial Mastering. Stefano was born in Milan, Italy, and started playing guitar at the age of 8 thanks to the Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd records that his father made him listen to. Later he was introduced to Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth and death metal! After playing clubs in Milan as a cover band he decided to completely leave the instrument because he was bored with what he was playing. A few years ago, he took up the guitar again with the aim of producing music without filters and without the influences of other musicians. Thus, was born the Soul Reborn project in which you can find all of his ideals, dreams, nightmares and above all his passion for the music that accompanied him through life.
