IN THE KINGDOM OF NIGHTMARES is an American Metalcore band that formed in 2008 and released their debut EP "As Daylight Turns To Dusk" the same year. Their first album "From Darkness To Despair" dates from 2010 before a separation in 2011. The reformation takes place in 2019 and will be released as a result, two demos and a second EP "Requiem" in 2020 before this new and third EP "Night Terrors", around five musicians.

TJ Washburn will unveil a clear song quite melodious that will be alternating or duet with growls, in the line of Metalcore, who will navigate the Death register, making them wickedly powerful and devastating.

Musically the musicians are under the influence of bands like UNEARTH, AS I LAYING DAY among others and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE that we find on the melodic riffs of the opening title "Relentless" and on "3 Evils" garnished with good tonic Heavy parts, a little short, which would have deserved to be exploited longer but it remains very honorable.

"Unbeliever" is quite classic, rhythmic and interspersed with more moderate parts before a heavy and heavy Death Metal finale.
Drum parts with machine guns tempos will amplify the Death Metal aspect interspersed with Metalcore parts on "Haunted" with a good solo and on "King Of The Rats" with a monstrously oppressive ending on some guitar squeaks.

"Night Terrors" is an EP by Metalcore that does not hesitate to titillate the Death Metal register in order to enrich and harden the style to stand out from their influences. This is a rather convincing demonstration with some small minor flaws that will probably fade later for a future album expected.

They often draw comparison to some of their inspirations like: Killswitch Engage, The Agony Scene, Unearth, and The Ghost Inside. Formed in 2008 the band disbanded in 2011 & Reformed in 2019. Night Terrors was recorded, produced and mastered by producer Evan Sammons.
