American stoner metal band NOISECULT could already be considered veterans of the scene, as the album "Seraphic Wizard" is already their seventh album in a row. Well, it's an album that's very different from a lot of stoner metal works. Yes, they can open emotions like Cathedral, but for the most part they seem to avoid similarities to Black Sabbath. NOISECULT bet mostly on ferocity, based on traditional heavy metal with influences of punk and dirty rock ́n ́roll, and they are not afraid to go to thrash metal. Songs include Exodus, Exploited, Megadeath, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Motörhead and alice Cooper with Hendrix in more rock passages. In doing so, they completely avoided the wooden lullabies heading towards the monolith of boredom in the noiseball. And so the stoner cunning turned into a pretty wild ride and that's how this album got me. - HardMusicBase
