BEYOND THE STYX, a French band from Tours, delivers us, after "Leviathanima" in 2015 and "Stiigma" in 2018, their third short album "Sentence" in a Hardcore Metal style with behind the microphone, Emile Duputié whose howls will navigate in high and low tones typed Hardcore with a hint of anger supported by some brief classical choirs in style as on "New World Disorder" with vocals, Luis Ifer (TEETHING).

Two other guests on vocals, Guillaume Duhau (FINAL SHODOWN) on "Scorched AD" on the good solo and Vincent Peingnart-Mancini (THE BUTCHER'S RODEO) on "Cyclops" on the infernal riff.

We get to the heart of the matter with a big sound on a solid hardcore basis from "DC" but with a moderate trend with tonic bursts that will bring pep because here, it is the powerful side mixed with the massive heaviness that will be put forward. It will be amplified when they titillate the overwhelming Death Metal and even more so with Beatdown passages that will further slow down the tempo and make the music ultra leaden with a cynical aspect.

Here is a Hardcore Metal album to classify in the category of demolishers who do not do in lace but in the heavy massive and overwhelming that you can discover with the title "Self Hatred" which will put you directly at the center of the subject. - ODYMETAL
