One or the other Metalmaniac has certainly already accommodated the Italian black thrash quartet EVIL SPELL from Milan. In their now fifteen years of existence, the band has already released two demos and a Spilt with the Black Metal Punk GEMINI 2014. In order to complete the discography of the Italians, the two full versions "Antisocial Satan" (2010) and "Necrologie" (2013) must not go unmentioned. If the titles of the two releases are associated with the genre in question, it should be clear to everyone what is on offer... In a harmonious alliance, the horned prince of the underworld is paid homage. After this has been clarified, there is now with "Padre Vostro" the third full service of collected blasphemy. In about forty-three minutes, nine satanic evils have been collected where no mercy is to be expected.

Without much fuss, EVIL SPELL start with the opener "Horrid" in the courtyard of hell. Rancid uncompromising Black Thrash incisses you, which develops into a tech-savvy number. The following title track "Padre Vostro" makes the ground of damnation shake through Lucifer's trident in rapid time. With a little more groove in the entablature, this catchy track ties in seamlessly with its predecessor and noticeably increases listening interest. According to the band information, EVIL SPELL does not have one classic main frontman, but here the vocal interludes are shared brotherly. Thus, it is not to be assigned who is currently swinging the vocal scepter. Some of these vocals are reminiscent of Tom Araya (SLAYER). After the knitting pattern of the speed-driven blackness that runs through the entire publication, the purely instrumental "Necrology" stands out for a change, where a church organ has the 'say' for about four and a half minutes. In general, the wonderfully lined production "Padre Vostro" skilfully floats free in stxy, the river of the underworld. The hellish torments are sweetened when the banishment in purgatory has hit you for eternity. Listeners of this genre will surely love it and will be torn back and forth forever! 22 OCTOBER: EVIL SPELL “Padre Vostro” CD Release!

Another band is joining the roster of Blasphemous Records - Music for the Masses Records…and it’s EVILSPELL who’s been active in the metal scene for over a decade.

The agreement provides for the release of the new record, entitled “Padre Vostro”, which will feature 9 new tracks in pure Speed/Black EVIL SPELL style, by fans of early Kreator, Sodom, Hellhammer and Nifelheim .

“PADRE VOSTRO” will be released on October, 22, 2021 and will be distributed by Sleaszy Rider Records (USA and Mexico), Code 7 (Europe), Egea Music (Italy) and digitally on all digital music stores. The promotion will be entrusted to Metal Devastation USA, Grand Sounds (Europe) and Mazzarella Press Office (Italy).
