Release date: April 22, 2021

Other releases of the band: This is their second album. I have already discussed the first one here. A single was released from this album.

How did I get to know the band: Here, too, Metal Devastation Radio brought me to this band. US black metal can do something, so let's see.

How do I find the record: Another really cool album from the Amis. So we listen in:

SERPENT'S RETURN opens with a really cold clap, from which a decent song spins. After a long intro, it continues with nasty vocals. Not a bad song, but I hope there's more to come.

CURSED VISIONS attracts the tempo a bit and sounds like old black metal, here the vocals are even a bit morbid. Here, everything really screams early 90s. And yet it doesn't sound like a copy.

THE PROCESSION begins worn and doomed as it belongs to a procession. After that, the band picks up the tempo, even if the base reef is preserved. A short but really cool song.

DWELL WITHIN THE FLESH picks up speed again and here I like drumming. Again it goes driving to the point and you can only enjoy the song. Sometimes nasty creases, sometimes sinister growls, here the singer provides a little variety. So far my favorite on the album.

DIABOLIC CONCEPTION opens with calm, clear guitars that give the whole thing a sombre atmosphere, but which gives way to aggression as soon as the vocals start and the accelerator pedal is kicked through.

AS WE WANDER is a beautiful instrumental just before the end that invites a little to dream. Not bad, but I'm going on to the title track.

TEMPLES OF RUIN finishes the album really interesting. Again the song starts doomed and then gives gas, but here it sounds quite different from the previous times. Really great, that as a conclusion, you are happy when the disc goes through and you get to the last track.

Verdict: Oh yes, they delivered correctly again. Here I have a clear recommendation for all friends of the black metal. Just listen, - Full Metal Mayhem

Necralant 's second album, " Temples of Ruin ", is a deeper, darker look into the great abyss of black/death metal, unveiling and evoking the Black Flame of the Left Hand Path and it's mysteries. Featuring seven new hymns of blackened metal mysticism and ritualistic poetry, the listener is sure to be captured by the macabre rhythms, haunting melodies and hellish beckoning of this sophomore offering.

For fans of  Carpathian Forest, Watain, Mayhem, Dark Throne
