The new 'collab' launched by the METAL VRAU channel will surely make many big guys cry with emotion and longing! Whether metalheads, headbangers or mere connoisseurs of good old Hard Rock, Blues Rock and Classic Rock from the seventies / eighties. The late Irish band THIN LIZZY was honored this time with an excellent version of their iconic track "Cowboy Song" , featured on the also iconic and classic album "Jailbreak" , from 1976.

THIN LIZZY was an Irish band that mixed Hard Rock, Blues, Classic Rock with folk songs from their country like no one else. Led by top vocalist, bassist and songwriter genius Phil Lynott , they were very successful in the 70s and early 80s. Many renowned musicians passed through its ranks, such as John Sykes, Gary Moore, Brian Robertson etc. Many hits, immortal and timeless classics were released, but the band officially ended its activities in 1983. In 1994, the band returned to activities only playing their classic material, but it was highly criticized, until in 2011, Scott Gorham ( only original member at the time) definitively ended Thin Lizzy, changing the band's name to Black Star Riders. There is another story.
The musicians who participated in this incredible 'collab' were:
Rafael Pacheco - Vocal / Guitar (@rafaelrcpacheco)
Rafael Tozi - Backing Vocal / Guitar (@ rafa.tozi)
Gustavo Pereira - Bass (@guztarrista)
Each member of the 'collab' captured their own sound and footage.

"Thin Lizzy, with his unique and exciting sonority, is that typically character-forming band. Phil Lynott was a genius and after he left us he was sorely missed! I did my best and I hope he won't pull my feet at night (laughs) " , commented Rafael Pacheco
"Only a beast went through this band! Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, John Sykes and even after the band decided to return to active life many very competent musicians went through their formation, but the classical phase will always be insurmountable! Phil's genius was very striking and influenced all of us! " , commented Sandro "Murdok"

More about METAL VRAU:
METAL VRAU is a São Paulo channel on YouTube, founded in May 2018 by musicians, guitarists and longtime friends, Rafael Pacheco and Sandro "Murdok", in order to enhance the style they love so much, Heavy Metal in all its aspects and subgenres, devoid of prejudice and with good doses of humor. The purpose of the channel is to present not only collaborative videos with great musicians of the Brazilian metal scene and pay homage to national and world giants of Rock / Metal, but also 'playthrough' of authorial material from the duo and other bands, interviews with important personalities within the style, special participations, reviews and personal opinions about instruments, all very well produced, with respect and extreme good taste.
Rafael Pacheco , born in São Paulo, 33 years old, developer and systems analyst, has been playing the guitar and guitar since he was 14 years old and has had lessons with masters of the six strings such as Orival Castelo (guitar) and Homero Bittencourt (guitar). He has been part of many cover bands from Testament, Iced Earth, Judas Priest, Queensrÿche and also with authorial sound such as InSoulitary (Death Metal) and Aventh (Melodic Death Metal). Currently, he plays in the covers bands Sons Of Judas (Judas Priest), Empire (Queensrÿche) and Untrusted, still in their embryonic phase. His guitar influences are big names like Mark Morton, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt, Richie Kotzen, Reb Beach, Doug Aldrich, Jon Petrucci, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Kiko Loureiro, Edu Ardanuy, Jeff Loomis, Keith Merrow, Ola Englund, among others.
Sandro "Murdok" , from São Paulo, 26 years old, producer and quality analyst, fell in love with music when he was 12 years old after some guitar lessons in the church where he attended. Self-taught most of the time, he made the nylon guitar his faithful companion. During his adolescence he was influenced by bands and artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Bullet For My Valentine, Charlie Brown Jr., Killswitch Engage and Bring Me The Horizon. In 2012, he won his first guitar, moving from nylon to steel, and new influences emerged, for example, Dimebag Darrell (Pantera), Michael Paget (Bullet For My Valentine), Adam D. and Joel Stroetzel (Killswitch Engage), John Browne (Monuments), Mark Holcomb (Periphery), etc. With the beginning of the Metal Vrau project, together with Rafael Pacheco, he had his first contact with music production and, from there, decided to turn his passion into a profession. The Music Production course at EM&T began the following year, with Fernando Quesada (ANIE, Noturnall, Armored Dawn) as coordinator and teacher. In the same year of 2019, he joined the Thrash Metal band, Trendkill Inc., without forgetting his love for production, opening Rec Station Produtora ( www.recstation.com.br ) with two other producer friends.
