T he world of Death & Black Metal continues to keep its eyes deeply immersed in the most complex hells of the Human Soul. The band Kira , with its roots in Poland, gives us a new album called “Pecatum et blasphemia”, a worthy successor to their debut “Ancient Lies”.

Continuing with the legends of the most naturalistic disgrace, they throw an extensive album in our faces that runs through the most varied corridors of the styles related to this aspect that does not stop exploiting the metaphysical themes of the founding schools. The very well produced and worked intervention of a heartbreaking and dark throat becomes one of the fundamental pillars of this album, but we cannot ignore the composition and fusion of the band either. With different resources, they walk us through orchestrated corridors at a parsimonious speed, which increases in rhythm and declines depending on the script that Kira tells us .

Perhaps the most interesting thing about this work lies in the versatility of the band when letting themselves walk through long songs that could constitute an EP each one (“One gram of your soul” or “Lord of the hallucinations”) with all the ceremoniality typical of the Stronger and darker Black Metal. But they also turn to the fiercest Death with fast segments like "Lucifer's Herald" or "Necroscience", clean and simpler, or border on putrid brutality with jewels of chaos and violence like "Weakness isn´t breathless" and "Silence. is consent ”; terrible blow that ends up dismembering an almost perfect album that maintains that Magic (black, of course) of a technique more based on the much-mentioned “Old School”, and they withdraw from time to time in that dark display of terror Blacker, thought, macerated and forceful by its extension.

Recommended without any fear for those who want to know what is new in the Under world of the Dark Arts, and perfect for those who seek to make their first weapons within these complex styles and that little by little are making their way in different media . - Sevilla Metal
