I didn't know this band, something that is always good from my perspective. Not so good when I immediately encounter several barriers to positive appreciation. Production is the largest but the issue of production is always relative, since a more humble production can sometimes have added value. No, here the problem is really the compositions that never manage to dazzle. The simplicity of the production fits in with the simplicity of the composition and the result is boring. The description given to us is post doom avant death metal, which together with Metal Archives, gives us avant-garde doom / death metal. Somewhere in between is reality, but avant-garde? I don't see how. At all. Too simple to be avant-anything. Second album that doesn't make you want to hear the first, unfortunately.
