“Amphitrite: Ancient Sanctuary In The Sea” is officially available on streaming platforms, today, January 15th, 2021. The new Ruins of Elysium's album is a “round the world in 12 songs”, bringing elements from different ethnicities and creating a world connected by the sea, represented by the pagan goddess Amphitrite. Mixed and mastered by Vincenzo Avallone at Deep Water Recordings, the new record brought some guest appearances like Melissa Ferlaak, Föxx Salema, Rayssa Monroy and Zaiiah. The Elysian Choir is formed by Drake Chrisdensen, Marshelz, Luísa Maria, Laís Azevedo, Rayssa Monroy. The art is by Sabrina Schmitt and the photos by Anna Fernanda.
“Among all this celebration of cultural diversity, there is a sound environment inspired by New Age music, Enya, effects and vibrations that resemble the sea, the melancholy of the ocean and the unexplored sanctity of the seabed, but of course without losing the epic, majestic and heavy sound for which Ruins of Elysium is known. ”, says the band. In this meeting of waves, where art seeks to bring a deep meaning to existence.
