Band Bio

Formed in Sheffield at the start of 2019, Shadow Smile have quickly amassed a rabid fan base with their unique brand of Alternative Metal and occult imagery.

Produced by Daniel Jeffery at Treehouse Studios, ‘Marionette’ leaves behind the guitar solos and Classic Rock influenced vocals of the last EP and embraces the chaos and aggression that is going on in the world.

“2020 was such a crazy year in so many ways” says Connor (vocals), “from the COVID-19 situation to all the anger and oppression that led to the Black Lives Matter protests, there’s a lot going on and this song is our way of telling our fans to think for themselves and stand up for what they believe in as we push towards a new year and a new era”.
