New day and new group in search of success, this time in the gasping vein of symphonic metal. The band in question is called Inception Of Eternity curated by mastermind Thorsten Eligehausen who on this record makes use of the collaboration of the American singer Ken Pike and some other guests such as the guitarist Marc Vanderberg and the German singer SINtana. "Into Darkness" is therefore the debut album and besides symphonic atmospheres it also tries to variegate the proposal by inserting a little experimentation and modern inserts.

On paper, the prerequisites for a good record could all be there but after the long intro the terrible “Ashes to Ashes” takes care of clarifying the ideas. All the defects come out immediately which will then slowly affect the entire disc. The guitar riffs are copied evenly by the Nightwish as well as the more symphonic parts, the folk / fantasy hints are too plasticized due to keyboards probably made by the computer while the lowest point are the vocals so flat and thin that they are annoying looking later to imitate certain Rammstein in a lighter version. The plasticky sound re-emerges powerful in the next "Whatever You Want" where the voice is even more inexpressive and then reaches one of the most tragic peaks in the terrible "Lust for Life" even if the electro-industrial of "My Mortality" reaches decidedly peaks dramatic (in the most pessimistic sense) thanks to guitar turns heard a thousand times. Every so often, however, some glimmer of lucidity comes out like the successful and atmospheric “Father” or the dance “Obsession” which seems like a dark / dance club song even if it mixes too many things. However, electronics are not always used properly since the jarring "Bright Lights" creates too many problems when listening and the banal instrumental track "Beyond Sunrise (feat. Marc Vanderberg)" seems more like a trade act than a cooperation. Listening is really a huge effort, there are no effective choruses and not even instrumental parts that manage to remain impressed or at least that manage to shake the listener since metal is finally talked about. The band is one of many that should return to the rehearsal room and focus their ideas better for quite a while because this way, sorry to say, you are not going anywhere. A real shame because a small raw gem was there and corresponds to the name of "Children from Hell (feat. SINtana)" where the female voice gives a successful melodic vein and the electronic / folk parts are more fluid this time. Really bad debut, poorly maintained and without insights. He also lacks ignorance but above all the will to create something done with the heart. Had it been a demo it would have been seen in a different perspective but that's not the case. Fail!

With Inception Of Eternity, the German label darkSIGN-Records brings another promising project to the start.
Head of the project is again Thorsten Eligehausen, who has already founded, produced and successfully established projects like Cradle of Haze, Eli van Pike or Schandpfahl in the scene. With Inception Of Eternity influences from Scandinavian Symphonic Metal and German medieval rock are combined to an interesting Gothic Rock mixture. The songs were written, recorded and produced by Thorsten Eligehausen. As vocal support, Eligehausen brought no less a person than the American singer Ken Pike into the team. Pike is also
a member of the project Eli van Pike and is also a well-known figure through his own projects Absolon, Firesphere and brand new Blutlaich. Eligehausen has also brought other professionals on board as supporting musicians: For the lead guitar in the instrumental song "Beyond Sunrise" he could win the German guitarist Marc Vanderberg (also a member of Eli van Pike) and the song "Children from Hell" is perfected by the German singer SINtana.
