IMMORTAL SOULS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present SYMBTOMY's debut recording, Demo #1.

SYMBTOMY is an old-school death metal formation created by Dejvy of Sectesy in order to build a full-fledged combo. Currently, he is seconded in the lineup by bassist Duzl and singer Martin (Sectesy), and Dejvy is gradually looking for other maniacs to complete a full lineup.

If you're used to Dejvy's melodic riffs full of graveyard elements in Sectesy, you can bury the stress, because the first SYMBTOMY demo is full of bleary procedures that were immortalized by the guests on the recording: Štěpán on drums (Poppy Seed Grinder), Adis on bass (Elysium), Frank (ex-Garbage Disposal) and, more interestingly, even by cult names from abroad, such as Ralf Hauber (Revel In Flesh), Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath) and Johan Jansson (Interment).

It is more than challenging to work in the underground scene today, but SYMBTOMY are already strong solid for future operation, which Dejvy commented as follows: "I would definitely like to complete the lineup, rehearse the concert set, go on a tour, and record the debut CD as a band with a full lineup next year."

The signature of SYMBTOMY and Sectesy follows the same line, which fans of the genre have certainly noticed and are noticing. But isn't there any friction between these names? Will it work in symbiosis? "Sectesy ends when it comes to creating new material," says Dejvy, "and where Sectesy ends, SYMBTOMY starts, so there can be no musical frictions. With Sectesy, I would like to record a 'farewell EP,' on which I have composed material for several years, and I would like to close this chapter with dignity."

It's no secret that not only through the festival, Symbolic riff-maker Dejvy fulfill his dreams... "The biggest and most secret. Thanks to this, Symbolic was created and, some time ago, also SYMBTOMY. From the very beginning, it was clear that in every song of SYMBTOMY which will ever be recorded, there would be a guest whom I greatly appreciate for his historical contribution to death metal. We are currently selecting and addressing singers who should appear on the CD - it's an indescribable feeling to go back in history to the people who took part in the recordings that changed and formed your life. I can already promise that you really have something to look forward to, in terms of big names." So, what's the biggest advantage of the recording? "Freedom...the freedom to finally be able to do what I love with the people I love," added Dejvy.

The original plan of the band was to ensure production, distribution, and promo by their own forces, but in the end, IMMORTAL SOULS PRODUCTIONS agreed with SYMBTOMY to cooperate, and the burden of ant-work shifts to the label. Each process of birth of such a beautifully dead torso hides certain processes, and we all wait together for the production itself. Release the death metal demons!
