Some Big Changes
Announcements
Native Comments are gone and now replaced with Disqus so that anyone online members or not can now comment on all content posted on MDR.
Groups and group discussions are removed and now replaced with this central forum. We can use this forum for all discussions such as band submissions, help with the site, staff bs and more! this makes its simpler to have everything located in one section and this entire site is really one big group so no need in having separate groups for that if you guys want i can add forums to each members page if you would like to create your own forums like this for different subjects though but everything MDR related will be getting posted here.

How to be included in the Battle Of The Bands Each Month?
Band Submissions
every month after the winner is announced i send out a newsletter email to all members of this site using the email you signed up with and i ask who would like to be included in the poll. The first 20 to respond are included and emailed back with the link to the poll. It is simple but you must make sure you are receiving emails from MDR and it is not going to your spam folder.

I agree and i would never use facebook for that it would be a complete waste of a resource, but allowing the public to create pages here for personal use is a completely different story. we are not advertising anything, just as facebook is not advertising metal devastation radio even though we have a page on there site they have nothing to do with it, see what im saying?

exactly and its not that we are actually advertising anything at all really except the google ads on the pages, think of MDR more as an online festival of everything metal, every genre, every link, every site etc. its growing fast every day and in a few years it will be unstoppable and unavoidable. But we will never get there by blocking off the rest of the world we have to have open doors and let every one have the stage since we are the stage it can only turn out good

this website MDR is not just about metal devastation radio, it is a 100% inclusive network for anything and everything metal and it is 100% open to public to post what they want as long as its not something like spam or porn or something that will get us in trouble legally. But as far as creating fan pages groups and content it really does not matter what other company it represents all that matters is its metal and that it is here. when p[ages and things like that are here videos etc when people google search these things our site comes up in directories as a place of location for that content so the more the better. eventually this will be a central hub for everything and anything metal
