I'm playing all the bands I saw at Bloodstock
I had a great time at Bloodstock, but we will start with the negatives first.
I don't like the pay an extra £25 for an extra day when they don't put anything on. It's just an extra payment to pitch your tent up early. We got there on Thursday, and there was nowhere to camp. The place needs to be bigger. We ended up camping next to a noisy Bloodstock group, and I got no sleep.
The sound wasn't great for most bands in the Sophie tent. New Blood Tent was poor sound as usual.
Main stage sounded amazing though.
Apart from that, all the bands I saw were great. No annoying fairground rides, which made room for more bars and more Metal related stuff. Beer prices are still reasonable for a music festival. There were more food choices for Vegans.
Visual production was amazing with large screens in the Sophie tent and more films, backdrops and fireworks than ever before.
May consider the quite camp if I go next year.
Bands of the Festival: Famyne, Orange Goblin, Nailbomb, Ministry, Machine Head, Lowen, Gojira, Obituary
