A musical proposal of the bassist and singer Rafael Dinnamarque, shortly after leaving the band Broken Spell. In 2005, he met drummer Riccardo Linassi, co-founder of Ata D'arc. After a while, Riccardo decided to join Rafael, due to their influences and musical passions in common, with the purpose of reformulating the heavy metal presented until then. A new way of mixing traditional heavy metal with other styles was born by the hands of them both. In 2006, the band began their work live also counting with Maycon Oliveira and Regis Vital on guitars, besides Rafael and Riccardo. After a hard work the band released the EP FIGHT, with 4 tracks. The album got a great reception, landing great reviews and much attention on various websites and magazines, including bringing the band to perform as the main event on a show at Wild Side, Tokyo in September 2019. In March 2020, the band released their first ever cover song, covering Dream Theater's classic 23-minute prog epic 'A Change of Seasons' from 1995. Shortly after this, the band would start recording their fourth album which was announced by the end of the year. The entire album was recorded from separate locations due to the pandemic. Prior to the release of the new album, the band released three singles on YouTube for the songs 'Resurgence', 'Falling' and 'Black Sky: Into the Void'. Check it out here at this link: https://fullmetalmayhem.wordpress.com/2021/12/04/blackhearth-mit-the-wrath-of-god/ How did I get to know the band: Here I was even offered the album by two places: Once from Metal Devastation Radio and from Izkar Promo. So I have to listen to that. How do I find the record: I can't complain about the guitar work, it's really first class. The rest of the instruments also understand the craft, but the vocals stand out in particular. They sound somehow familiar, but still their own. Here the singer really manages to convey his emotions. Sometimes it gets a bit too pathetic, but you can overlook it. I really like ROTTEN TO THE CORE, that could almost be thrash metal, if the vocals were a bit more aggressive. It starts nice and heavy, but also has large passages. The same goes for the title track, THE WRATH OF GOD. Maybe it's also going a little in the direction of power metal. The rest can also be listened to well, only NOTHING BUT DUST is much too quiet for me. Conclusion: Really worth listening to. So if you want to give yourself a good dose of heavy metal, this should be the right address. It's not quite my style, but I'll listen a little bit more from the Spaniards. When bands begin to involve other sounds, things can get a little complicated… not to Blackhearth as the Basque band have delivered their highly anticipated sophomore album ‘The Wrath of God’.                 Blackhearth delivered their superb self-titled debut album in 2019, it was a going to be a tough call to repeat that feat, but with ‘The Wrath of God’, Blackhearth have managed it. This is an album of classic sounding heavy metal; it shreds like a bastard and reminds the listener of exactly why they got into this music in the first place. ‘The Wrath of God’ is a powerful album of high-quality musicianship that excels at every corner; tracks such as ‘My Bornless Child’ and ‘Rotten to the Core’ hammer with all the authenticity of Symphony X, Alcatrazz and Witherfall as vocalist Alain Concepción delivers a performance worthy of Russell Allen fighting with Jørn Lande and Ronnie Romero. This gains further appeal with some superb harmonised back vocals that bring a real Romeo/LePond feel to the music. One such country is Mexico which delivers quality heavy metal over and over again and this year has Fugatta returning with their third studio album ‘The Darkest Planet’.                 Fugatta are a band which have spent their youth devouring every form of classic metal and this is evident as they step from their turntables to their instruments. ‘The Darkest Planet’ is the sound of a band wearing these very influences on their sleeves as they combine it with their own brand of symphonic power metal. Now, this isn’t the European style of symphonic metal delivered through banks of keyboards and corsets coupled with a moody music video featuring a snowy forest, this is symphonic power metal delivered through a different sort of epic; this is conflict, this is battles and it is 2020/21 in music. A musical proposal of the bassist and singer Rafael Dinnamarque, shortly after leaving the band Broken Spell. In 2005, he met drummer Riccardo Linassi, co-founder of Ata D'arc. After a while, Riccardo decided to join Rafael, due to their influences and musical passions in common, with the purpose of reformulating the heavy metal presented until then. A new way of mixing traditional heavy metal with other styles was born by the hands of them both. In 2006, the band began their work live also counting with Maycon Oliveira and Regis Vital on guitars, besides Rafael and Riccardo. After a hard work the band released the EP FIGHT, with 4 tracks. It placed DINNAMARQUE in front of the scene. In 2009 the band changed formation with the entry of Ronan Oliveira and Leo Lanny on the guitars and in the same year, the EP Fight led the band to participate and win the regional selective of WOA Metal Battle, one of the events of greater national visibility. DINNAMARQUE attracted, then, the attention of the specialized media, that put the name of the group like one of the main ones of the Brazilian underground. DINNAMARQUE already had the pleasure to share the stage with big names of the heavy metal world like: Thiago Bianchi (Shaaman and Noturnall); Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden) twice; Almah; Claustrophobia, Torture Squad; Zak Stevens (Savatage and Circle II Circle), Korpiklaani and Kiko Loureiro (formerly Angra and Megadeth). DINNAMARQUE released their first full lenght album on February 8th 2020, named ‘One Spirit of a Thousand Faces’ which is already available on all main streaming services and also in CD. After signing with DyMM P&M Records from Europe, the band started promoting their new album "The Darkeside of Human Nature" which has already had two breakthrough singles released by the label in recent weeks, the album will be released on the 10th of December in physical and digital versions and you can already check both songs to know a little of what will come in this explosive work!
