Ontario, Canada’s ‘Rasterized Death Metal’ duo PERILAXE OCCLUSION (2020 – 2023) bow out in ferocious and belligerent style with "Vapor Chamber", a complete discography compilation which will be the band's final release.
This frighteningly consistent set collates December 2020's lauded first demo "Exponential Decay", June 2021's walloping DMP debut/second demo "Raytraces of Death", the barnstorming 'Serrated Tessellation' from September 2022's "Absolute Convergence" 4-way split, a previously unreleased, brutally executed SYSTEM OF A DOWN cover version (only available on physical formats) and 2 resplendent brand-new songs.
Fresh tracks 'Procedural Proscriptions' and 'Dithering Anisotropic' were crafted utilising the best parts of a planned debut full-length, with their dynamic intensity, darkened melodies and heightened emotional impact marking a perfect evolutionary end point for the band – an ascension to the highest echelons of crushingly atmospheric contemporary Death Metal.
