"The Abyss" by Eviscerate The Crown “The Abyss” is the first instalment of Eviscerate The Crown’s upcoming Album “Life Giver // Death Bringer”. Based on the real-life experience of a select member, who was trapped within a society, not of his choosing. His entrapment led to years of life lost, experiences stolen from him, and friends and family lost to an unjust reasoning. For 10 years he was held to high account by this society and told “you will be reimbursed in the life that comes after life…” Through a series of life event, the member realised that life is too short to be encapsulated by hidden truths. Whilst our band member has asked to remain anonymous, the undying truth that you should “pick your own path” shines through in his story. Originally encapsulated due to a false sense of security, those around him manipulated him for their own personal gain. This led to extensive losses both physically and mentally. It was only through the departure of family and through the exposure of what life really holds for us that he was set free, able, and willing to choose his own path. Manipulation is a Marvellous tool... “The Abyss” summarises over 1000 years of historic experiences of others trapped by the untold truths, including recent life experiences. Instilling the message that you can never be certain how life will turn out and that sometimes you simply should take the leap of faith, to find what is waiting for you before it’s too late, because death comes when we least expect it.
