Description
Get This Right Records confirms the September release of the new self-titled EP from Wilmington, North Carolina-based hardcore outfit, SOCIETY SUCKER.
Delivering their own slamming brand of NYHC-influenced East Coast hardcore, SOCIETY SUCKER takes lessons from classic bands like Subzero, Next Step Up and Merauder, delivered in a brutal delivery akin to contemporary powerhouses Trapped Under Ice, Incendiary and Suburban Scum. Having quickly surged to the forefront of the quickly growing North Carolina hardcore scene since forming in the
Summer of 2013, the band has performed heavily regionally along the East Coast with an extensive list of local and internationally touring acts.
Following their debut demo dropped last year, the Summer of 2014 will bring forth the first official release from SOCIETY SUCKER, having recently hooked up with Get This Right Records for the unleashing of the self-titled EP. With five enraged tracks loaded with more brutal hooks than a fleet of whalers, Society Sucker was recorded in February of this year at The Skylight Studio with Vince Ratti and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and bears bold cover art by Steven Kulesza.
SOCIETY SUCKER is a band committed to keeping hardcore hard. This is the proof.
Get This Right Records will release Society Sucker digitally and on 7” vinyl on September 16th.
