Some Dude Was Auctioning Off Chester Bennington's Funeral Service Items

Last Saturday, July 30, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was laid to rest at a private funeral service at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes, California. According to reports at the time, the service was attended by a few hundred people, including the likes of Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile and hip hop artist Blackbear. The aforementioned artists posted pictures of what was handed out at the funeral service, which included memorabilia such as VIP passes and wrist bands.

Unfortunately, an attendee or multiple attendees either gave away their packages to the wrong person or people, or took it upon themselves to sell the packages for exorbitant amounts of money on eBay. As of this morning, I personally couldn't find these listings, and there's no way they ended by now, so I assume either eBay caught wind and took them down or the band's management had them taken down.

Still… 134 bids on one and 12 on the other. What the fuck, guys? Here's hoping these don't resurface, though celebrity memorabilia comes in all disturbing shapes and sizes, and it's likely these will come up again because there's a market for it. Via MetalInjection
