Hedra have released a charity single for WWF to raise money for the wildlife preservation in Australia.
Hurricane is a song about natural disaster and the need to change as a matter of urgency.
The song steps back in time and represents a moment of 80’s sound score where we may not have cared for the conservation of the planet .
“We can’t change the past & seeing those emotional pictures of animals escaping the fire in Australia I wished a hurricane would come and pick them all up and take them to safety, that’s when the chorus lyrics came in. I didn’t really want to point to the Fire as the destroyer of all these lives.
I didn’t want to focus on Australia either in the lyrics as there are many other natural disasters happening that are not currently in the media eye too but I do want this single to point to that charity as one of the biggest disasters for a long time for the donation aspect”. Jim
“I really just wanted to send a message that we do need to care more about those around us, again going back to those good times of the 80’s where I was young and innocent I remember that people also came together much more than we do now”. Kamil

Lyrics
when did the world gain its frown
our destination turned upside down
when love was a crux that's now left town
this is beginning to sound like its the end
so take me away on a hurricane of life
your people so tired missing the stars in your eyes
the sea drawn closer to the beach hut of your demise
we don't look at nature as the means to survive
we just point the finger as a means to the end
so take me away on a hurricane of life 'alive'
