Plague Throat is one of Indian sub-continent's better known Death Metal bands. Right from their inception in 2008 till this day; the band has seen it all. Hailing from the city of Shillong; the band have had the privilege to support bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Psycroptic, Dying Fetus, Funerus, Dawn of Demise to name a few. Often regarded as one of India's heavy weights and flag bearers of Extreme Metal with the likes of Demonic Resurrection, Kryptos, Third Sovereign etc., to name a few.
The band released their first single off the upcoming EP- 'Evolutionary Impasse' namely 'The Epoch of Catastrophe II'. The band also recently announced their upcoming Asia Tour in support of this album and will announce another string of shows from the sub-continent in support of the album in the coming days.
