BRAVEMUSIC CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF INDEPENDENT MUSIC

Northern Virginia music collective marks three decades of creativity across five connected projects.

NORTHERN VIRGINIA, October 2026: Bravemusic celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, marking three decades of independent music created by a close circle of family members, friends, and longtime collaborators from the Washington, DC area.

Beginning with Arise From Thorns in Dale City, Virginia, in 1996, the musical journey has evolved across five distinct projects spanning progressive rock, atmospheric metal, instrumental compositions, and traditional heavy metal.

Established in 2020, Bravemusic brings these projects together under one umbrella, preserving their shared history while celebrating their individual musical identities.

“For me, the greatest reward has always been creating music, writing something, recording it, and hearing it come to life,” says Bravemusic co-founder Scott Loose. “We never set out to build a 30-year legacy. We were just making music that meant something to us, with people we enjoyed working with. Looking back at everything we’ve done together is pretty remarkable.”

FIVE PROJECTS, FIVE FEATURED SONGS

The anniversary retrospective highlights a recording from each project:

• Arise From Thorns (1996): “Among the Leaves” | Atmospheric progressive rock and metal.
• Brave (2000): “Words” | Progressive and atmospheric metal, evolving from Arise From Thorns.
• Stellar Death (2019): “Emergence” | Instrumental progressive metal with cinematic and cosmic influences.
• Day of Departure (2019): “Ex Machina” | Atmospheric progressive music exploring technology and the human experience.
• Element of Fate (2022): “Alone in the Dark” | Traditional heavy metal with dark atmospheres and fantasy-inspired storytelling.

The collective’s history also includes connections to While Heaven Wept and As the Sea Parts, reflecting the wider musical community surrounding these projects.

The 30th-anniversary retrospective invites listeners to explore the music, discover its history, and follow ongoing creative work, including Element of Fate’s 2026 album Dreamfall.
