MisophoniA Unleash Their Most Unhinged Work Yet with New Album ‘The Fall’
UK-based blackened melodeath six piece MisophoniA are preparing to unleash their darkest and most ambitious creation yet with their upcoming album, The Fall . Combining crushing aggression, haunting atmosphere, and emotionally charged songwriting, the band’s latest offering pushes their signature “Misophonic Metal” sound into devastating new territory.
A record built around despair, collapse, and the fragility of the human mind, The Fall follows the journey of an unnamed protagonist spiraling toward complete mental oblivion, where every path leads to the inevitable conclusion: The Fall .
From the relentless opening assault of “I Grieve for What I’ve Lost,” driven by furious guitars and thunderous percussion, to the haunting symphonic weight of the title track, the emotional devastation of “A Mother’s Sorrow,” and the bleak closing moments of “Cruel December,” MisophoniA deliver a record designed to take listeners through darkness, anguish, and ultimately catharsis.
For fans of Paradise Lost, Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar, and Cradle of Filth , The Fall offers a powerful collision of black metal intensity, melodic death metal precision, and cinematic darkness.
As MisophoniA prepare for the next stage of their evolution, the band is currently seeking a new record label partner ready to help bring The Fall to a wider global audience.
Formed in the United Kingdom, MisophoniA consists of:
Jay – Vocals
Cristina – Bass
Jordan – Guitars
Neil – Guitars
Sean – Keys/Synths
Jura – Drums
Blending elements of black metal, thrash, doom, and atmospheric metal, MisophoniA have carved out their own identity with a sound they proudly define as “Misophonic Metal.”
After signing with Sliptrick Records in 2022, the band released three singles, two music videos, and their critically acclaimed debut album [De] void of Peace .
Throughout their journey, MisophoniA have shared stages with acts including Aephanemer, Arkona, Ghosts of Atlantis, Bones of Minerva, Once Awake, JADE, Infested Angel, Thulcandra, Ante Inferno, and The Infernal Sea .
Now, with The Fall , the band enters a new era with a renewed focus, a bigger vision, and a sound that refuses to compromise.
