DETROIT, MI . Former Nile guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade returns with his uncompromising death metal project, Narcotic Wasteland, to unleash the band's crushing new single, "Fentanyl Zombie Apocalypse," arriving on August 14, 2026 .

Fueled by punishing riffs, razor-sharp precision, and unflinching social commentary, "Fentanyl Zombie Apocalypse" confronts the devastating impact of the synthetic opioid crisis. The new track continues Narcotic Wasteland's tradition of exposing addiction, corruption, and societal decay through brutally honest lyrics and relentless musicianship.

The release arrives alongside the band's Fentanyl Zombie Apocalypse Tour , bringing Narcotic Wasteland's ferocious live performance to venues across the United States throughout August. Support on select dates includes Visitant and Monochromatic Black, with additional appearances by Yotuma and IATT.
