Richmond, Virginia symphonic metal band unleashes cinematic tales inspired by the gods and legends of ancient Egypt

Richmond, Virginia based symphonic metal band Symphony of Destiny are set to release their highly anticipated debut EP, Heroes of Egypt , on July 17, 2026 , delivering an epic fusion of cinematic orchestration, soaring vocals, thunderous guitars, and mythological storytelling.

Inspired by the timeless legends of ancient Egypt, Heroes of Egypt transports listeners into a world where gods, warriors, and legendary figures come to life through powerful compositions. The four-track release features the previously released singles "Exile of Horus," "The Riddle," and "Rampage (Bastet)," alongside the instrumental opener "Chariot of Ra," creating a cohesive musical journey rooted in mythology and cinematic atmosphere.

Heroes of Egypt marks the culmination of Symphony of Destiny's first chapter as a band. Since forming, the Richmond outfit has steadily built an international following through memorable live performances, widespread radio support, and growing media recognition. Fans across the United States, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and beyond have embraced the band's distinctive blend of symphonic and power metal.

The EP was mixed and mastered in collaboration with Jack Kosto , whose production work helped shape the band's signature balance of orchestral grandeur, melodic power, and crushing metal instrumentation into a polished and immersive listening experience.
