New Single “The Abyss” Showcases Crushing Progressive Death Metal From Serbia

Serbian progressive death metal force Disassemble have officially released their new album “Invest In Fear”, now available worldwide. Alongside the full release, the band continues to spotlight the album’s latest single, “The Abyss”, a crushing and atmospheric descent into darkness that highlights their expanding sonic identity.

Blending technical precision with cinematic atmosphere, Disassemble push progressive death metal beyond the usual boundaries. Their sound shifts between razor sharp aggression, immersive melodic passages, and intricate songwriting built on contrast and tension that keeps everything unpredictable but still locked in as real songs, not just technical exercises.

Drawing influence from bands like Opeth, Pantera, and Gojira, Disassemble carve out their own lane through oriental inspired scales, layered atmospheres, and complex structures that still land with impact and memorability.
