Forged in 2005 by sisters Miki (bass) and Yumi (vocals/guitar) alongside longtime friend Kei (drums), the trio has built a reputation the old-school way, through grit, consistency, and a take-no-prisoners live show. Their sound hits like a busted amp in a back-alley club, fusing punk rock attitude with garage rock swagger and a shot of metallic edge for good measure.

In 2025, AKABANE VULGARS ON STRONG BYPASS celebrated their 20th anniversary, proving they’re not just survivors of the scene, they’re still setting it on fire.
