Vermont’s genre-defying metal outfit Shiny New Toyz is back, and their sophomore EP LORE is out now — a brutal, immersive, and transformative journey through heavy metal, post-hardcore, progressive metal, and alternative rock.
Fronted by the commanding Suzie Tremblay and backed by guitarists Shawn Toussaint and John Notaro , bassist Brad Woodward , and drummer Forrest Thomas , LORE fuses crushing rhythms, intricate melodies, and layered textures. The EP channels the divine feminine with raw honesty, moving through grief, rage, reverence, and release — music that is both primal and cathartic.
