Irish deathcore outfit Survivalist continue their upward climb with a 7/10 review from Metal Hammer Magazine for their latest full-length album, A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone , featured in a stacked special issue of the legendary publication.

This special issue also features Castle Rat on the cover , along with special features on Paleface Swiss, President, Sleep Theory, Kittie, Avatar, Kreator, Dream Theater , and more, placing Survivalist in strong company alongside both rising stars and established heavyweights in the global metal scene.

In their review, Metal Hammer highlights the band’s signature “groovecore” sound and the emotional depth of the record’s mental health themes, calling attention to standout tracks like the title track, “Radio Bleed,” and the introspective closer “How Do I Stop Thinking About Death?” The magazine also praises the band’s balance of crushing heaviness and melody, ultimately labeling the album “a strong release from a band with a huge amount of potential.”
