FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Metal Devastation PR Artists Autumn Lies Buried and Hexjakt Featured in Metal Hammer’s Biggest Issue of the Year

Metal Devastation PR is proud to announce that two of our artists, Autumn Lies Buried and Hexjakt, have been featured in Metal Hammer ’s massive “Best of 2025” issue, Metal Hammer #408. This is the magazine’s flagship edition of the year, loaded with their top 50 albums, the biggest stories in metal, exclusive Iron Maiden merch, and a full look back at a year that shook the scene to its core. Landing our clients in this issue is no small feat. It’s the kind of placement every band wants and only the heaviest hitters get.

The new issue features a full review of Hexjakt’s new album Blessing Of The Damned and an artist spotlight on Autumn Lies Buried . Both pieces hit hard and shine a bright, brutal light on what these bands are doing right now.

Hexjakt: “Blessing Of The Damned” Review

Metal Hammer delivers a blistering and atmospheric take on Sweden’s rising power trio, praising their ability to summon doom-laden grandeur only a year into their existence. The review highlights the band’s longform songwriting, murderous atmosphere, lumbering power chords, and their ability to twist Dio’s “Don’t Talk To Strangers” into their own molasses-thick, sepulchral vision. Hammer calls Blessing Of The Damned proof that Hexjakt can throw their own shadow over an already ashen canvas.

Autumn Lies Buried: Artist Feature

The magazine also spotlights Tennessee’s own Autumn Lies Buried , digging into the band’s evolution from local emo-named curiosity to a beastly, hip-hop-tinged nu-deathcore unit. Metal Hammer breaks down their slab-heavy grooves, scorching vocals, and the raw, real-world fury powering their music. Between stories of their Clarksville roots, their sonic shift, and the anger behind songs like “Guillotine,” the feature shows a band unapologetically carving out their place in the modern extreme scene.

Why This Matters

Metal Hammer #408 isn’t just another issue. This is the one fans hold onto all year. The Iron Maiden pin, the Halestorm sticker, the 2026 calendar, the tributes, the losses, the milestones, the world records, the fires, the chaos, the triumphs… all of it is in this edition. Being included here puts our artists in front of the biggest global readership Metal Hammer hits all year. This is prime real estate.

For Hexjakt and Autumn Lies Buried , this is exposure on an entirely different level. For our team at Metal Devastation PR, it’s another moment proving what we’ve always said: underground bands deserve — and can absolutely earn — major-league visibility when the music hits hard enough.

Huge thanks to our friends at Metal Hammer UK for the continued support and for shining a spotlight on two bands who are absolutely tearing it up right now.

More coverage to come. More havoc on the way.
