Death Reigns , the groundbreaking documentary about the underground metal scene of the American Bible Belt, has just smashed into the Top 5 most-streamed films on Thunderflix for November , right alongside legends like Helloween, Epica, Moonspell, and Megadeth.

At the heart of the film are radio hosts Raven Moonla and Zach Moonshine , two relentless metalheads on a mission to build something real in a place that wants it buried. Their goal: organize the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest , a grassroots festival built entirely on passion, community, and zero industry backing.

As the festival grew louder, pushback intensified. Far-right religious activists tried to shut it down, sparking a tense battle between outsiders fighting to create space and forces determined to erase them.

Death Reigns goes far beyond the music. It captures the exhaustion, triumphs, threats, late-night planning, and unwavering resilience of a culture that refuses to die.
