Epic Medieval Metal Titans Forge a Mythological Saga of Steel, Fire, and Symphony

Prepare for battle: Dragonborn, the creators of the mythic world of Valdatron, are set to unleash their highly anticipated EP, Riddle of Steel , in Spring 2026. Fusing epic medieval metal with symphonic and dark cinematic elements , Dragonborn crafts a universe where gods, kings, and warriors clash beneath burning skies, and music becomes legend.

Conceived by guitarist and composer Ekrem Kani , Dragonborn’s sound blends heroic melody and symphonic grandeur with the raw power of extreme metal. Each track of Riddle of Steel serves as a chapter in the ongoing Valdatron chronicle, telling stories of prophecy, rebellion, and war. Following the 2025 success of their single Revenge of Pagan Swords , this EP marks the first act of the saga’s next war.

Joining Kani on this epic journey are world-class collaborators : drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Six Feet Under), keyboardist Jonny Maudling (Bal-Sagoth), and bassist Emanuele Rastelli (Crown of Autumn). Across Turkey, the UK, Italy, and the USA, Dragonborn fuses international talent into a single blazing banner of metal might.
