Symphony of Destiny Announce Debut Single “Exile of Horus”

Richmond, VA – November 29, 2025 – Richmond-based symphonic metal outfit Symphony of Destiny announces the release of their debut single, “Exile of Horus,” out now. Fusing the power and intensity of metal with cinematic orchestration and mythological storytelling, the band sets a new standard for symphonic metal in 2025.

Formed earlier this year by guitarist and composer Wesley Eldridge , Symphony of Destiny blends epic orchestration with heavy, driving riffs to create music that is as theatrical as it is powerful. Wesley, a Virginia Commonwealth University graduate with formal training under legendary guitarists Rob Math (Leatherwolf) and Joe Stump, lays the foundation for the band’s intricate and cinematic sound.

Fronted by Anne Dueweke , a classically trained opera singer, the band balances metal aggression with dramatic vocal power. Keyboardist Tom Wright contributes progressive and hard rock influences, while classically trained drummer Patrick anchors the rhythm with precision and flair, bringing experience from Richmond’s industrial scene with Synthetic Nightmare .

Since their debut performance in March 2025, Symphony of Destiny has played venues across Central Virginia, including The Canal Club, Another Round Bar & Grill, Super Rad Arcade, and Fallout. Their first headlining show is set for November 29th at Riffhouse Pub , coinciding with the release of “Exile of Horus.” The single marks the band’s first step toward establishing themselves as a standout force in symphonic metal, with influences fans of Nightwish, Elaine, and Seven Spires will immediately recognize.
