New York’s blind-led metalcore powerhouse Dead Within Days is set to release their latest single, “Burn” , the final track completing their sophomore EP Outrospect , on October 1, 2025 . The song channels raw emotion, resilience, and the intensity of life itself, solidifying the band’s reputation for powerful, deeply personal music.

Frontman Joel Sofia shares, “Burn was one of the first songs I wrote after joining the band, and it quickly became one of my favorites. At the time, I was facing one of the biggest challenges of my life—a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and permanent blindness. Music became my outlet, and ‘Burn’ captures the energy, struggle, and emotions tied to those experiences. Performing live is physically and emotionally consuming, and the flames in the song symbolize life, the effort to pursue your dreams, and the toll it takes.”

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Billy Pfister of Westfall Records , “Burn” fuses soaring metalcore riffs, pounding rhythms, and heartfelt lyricism. The track is a testament to perseverance, resonating with fans of Blessthefall, Bullet For My Valentine , and Darkest Hour , while offering something entirely new and authentic.
