Charlottesville, VA – Veteran heavy metal force Age of Fire storms back with their brand-new single “Race Against the Setting Sun,” out now on all major streaming platforms. Independently released and recorded, mixed, and mastered at Red Amp Studios, this track channels the band’s fiery thrash roots while infusing the soaring power and melodic edge that has become their trademark—now elevated by their newest addition, powerhouse vocalist Snigdha Diehl .

Founded in 1988, Age of Fire quickly carved out their place in the East Coast metal underground before disbanding in 1991. In 2018, guitarist and founding member Greg Brown reignited the flame, joined by Rick “Dynamic” Brown on bass and Bill Rad Morris on drums.
