[Exitus Stratagem Records] — Acclaimed technical death metal virtuoso Matt Miller is set to officially release his seventh full-length album, Fiber Tormentum , on September 12, 2025 , via Exitus Stratagem Records. Ahead of its release, fans can now stream the album exclusively via Decibel Magazine , offering a first look into Miller’s boldest work to date.

Transitioning from a solo instrumental career to a full-band assault, Miller joins forces with Jordan Kelso (drums, synth), Justice Robinett (bass), and Biko Wright (vocals) to deliver a technically precise, emotionally resonant, and brutally intense listening experience.

Earlier this summer, Miller unveiled the first single, “Descent into Violence,” alongside a mesmerizing visualizer and intricate guitar playthrough, premiered exclusively on Metal Insider . The next single, “Effectively Neutralized,” premiered on NoCleanSinging , showcasing the album’s blend of technical mastery, melodicism, and narrative depth.

Fiber Tormentum spans eight tracks of intricate guitar work, clean vocals, and theatrical, memorable arrangements. Conceptually, the album explores a dystopian sci-fi narrative where extraterrestrial forces manipulate human DNA to subjugate humanity — fusing speculative fiction with contemporary anxieties. The haunting album artwork, crafted by the late Joshua Nassaru Ward (Voraath) , adds striking visual depth to the record’s themes.
