New Jersey’s extreme metal powerhouse Mass Punishment has dropped the official music video for “Enemy Within” , taken from their critically acclaimed debut album Proving Grounds Devastation , out now via Wormholedeath Records .

Premiered exclusively by NO CLEAN SINGING , the video for Enemy Within was filmed on a raw, guerrilla-style budget and directed by Marc Petrick , marking the band’s first professionally shot music video. With makeup by Morgan Milos and additional acting talent, the video follows frontman Maverick through an increasingly volatile day—receiving eviction notices, clashing with extremist protesters, and ultimately snapping in a brutal return to the bar. The final minute delivers a ferocious, stripped-down band performance, sealing the track’s emotional and sonic devastation.

Formed by guitarist Christopher Milos after returning from combat in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mass Punishment channels real-life intensity into their unrelenting sound. Alongside vocalist Erick “Maverick” Laurino , drummer Brian Donat , and bassist Kyle Yannon , the band fuses military precision with underground ferocity.

Influenced by Pantera , Slayer , Megadeth , Slipknot , and more, Mass Punishment delivers a sonic assault rooted in unity, resistance, and survival. Their name—drawn from military jargon—embodies their philosophy: “If one of us fails, we all fail.”

The band has shared the stage with GWAR , Emmure , Agnostic Front , and other heavy-hitters, cementing their place as one of the next wave of uncompromising voices in extreme metal.
