HOMICYDE Drop New Album “Immortal” – Melodic Death Metal From the Swamps of South Carolina

Charleston, SC — The swamps have spoken. HOMICYDE, the five-piece melodic death metal assault unit from Charleston, South Carolina, have just unleashed their brand-new album Immortal , now available on all streaming platforms. Recorded and mastered at Exodian Studios , this latest chapter in the band’s journey is a crushing blend of technical precision, unrelenting brutality, and swamp-born groove.

Formed in 2010 by brothers Carl (drums), Jacob (vocals), and Shane Parrott (bass), HOMICYDE’s ranks grew with the addition of Wayne Palmer (guitar) and Thomas Weidick (guitar). Influenced by heavyweights like The Black Dahlia Murder, Orbit Culture, Cattle Decapitation, and Gojira, HOMICYDE carve their own path—mixing violent intensity with haunting melodic passages.

Immortal follows their 2022 release The Sickening Tales , taking their sound to a new level with razor-sharp riffs, bone-breaking breakdowns, and lyrics that explore resilience, mortality, and the fight to outlast the darkness.

Fresh off their “All The Worst Stars” tour in support of the new record, HOMICYDE remain fully independent and DIY—booking their own tours, hitting the road hard, and feeding the underground metal scene with every show. The band is currently locking in more dates for July and October 2025 while writing new material to keep the carnage going.
