FIERCE ATMOSPHERES ANNOUNCE UPCOMING ALBUM THE STORY SO FAR — A POWERFUL CHRONICLE OF PROGRESSIVE METAL MASTERY

Album Slated for Release in Spring 2026 — Recording Underway with Andy LaRocque in Sweden

Chicago, IL — Progressive power metal band Fierce Atmospheres is set to unleash their most ambitious and defining work to date with the upcoming full-length album The Story So Far , arriving Spring 2026. Fusing the epic storytelling of classic metal with the technical brilliance of progressive rock, the new release promises to captivate fans of Masterplan , Iron Maiden , Rush , and Queensrÿche .

In a unique twist that reflects the band’s passion and dedication, Fierce Atmospheres spent two years doubling as a King Diamond tribute act —saving every penny from their performances to fund airfare and studio time with legendary producer and guitarist Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) at Sonic Train Studio in Varberg, Sweden.

“It was a labor of love and metal,” says the band. “Paying tribute to King Diamond not only sharpened our musical chops, but gave us the chance to make our dream a reality—working directly with one of our heroes to bring this new album to life.”
