ATLANTA, GA — Rising from the smoldering underground of Atlanta’s doom scene, Leafblower returns with their full-length debut album Low Heaven , available now via Dark Sails Entertainment . With influences drawn from genre-defining acts like Neurosis , Cult of Luna , and Isis , Low Heaven is a towering monument of sorrow, grit, and transcendent heaviness.

Formed in the summer of 2020, when the world was in lockdown and mortality loomed large, Leafblower came together not just to make music—but to survive. That urgency is deeply embedded in their DNA, and it echoes throughout Low Heaven . The album showcases the band's signature sound: deliberate, mid-tempo doom riffing paired with emotionally raw and cathartic vocal performances by frontman Tim Jones .

While their debut EP introduced the world to their instrumental foundation, Low Heaven pushes their sonic boundaries further—merging crushing heaviness with moments of mournful reflection and glimmers of hope. The album was recorded, mixed, and produced by Kellan Scalf , with mastering by Chris Melillo , ensuring a visceral listening experience that captures both the weight and depth of the band’s vision.
