Forged in the bleak soundscapes of Sweden, Shrouded in Darkness return with their most ominous and immersive offering yet. “The Lurking Devil,” taken from the forthcoming album 11:11, blends the crushing weight of death metal with the somber atmosphere of doom. Watch “The Lurking Devil” (Official Lyric Video) here:

Formed in 2021, Shrouded in Darkness is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Mike (bass, drums), who envisioned a project rooted in pure death/doom heaviness. The band quickly took shape with the addition of vocalist/keyboardist Daniel T. and guitarist Reese, and together they have carved a path through darkness since their debut.

With 11:11, the trio deepens their signature sound—combining gut-wrenching riffs, desolate melodies, and chilling lyrical themes to craft a sonic journey that is as hypnotic as it is harrowing.

Line-Up:

Daniel T. – Vocals, Keyboards

Reese – Guitar

Mike – Bass, Drums

For fans of early Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, and Evoken, “The Lurking Devil” is a must-hear descent into the abyss.
