Long Island’s thrash horror unit Electrocutioner has just unleashed the official music video for “Frozen File” , the harrowing first single from their upcoming sophomore album Harbinger , due Fall 2025 via CDN Records .

Told from the chilling perspective of a missing child whose case has gone cold, “Frozen File” is an emotionally gripping and aggressively cinematic piece of modern thrash storytelling. Now brought vividly to life through haunting visual imagery, the video digs even deeper into the song’s unsettling narrative and horror-fueled atmosphere.

“‘Frozen File’ is told from the viewpoint of a child who has been abducted and forgotten,” explains guitarist/vocalist Mark Pursino . “The video adds another layer of tragedy—depicting what it feels like to be stuck in limbo, crying out for closure while the world forgets you.”

With razor-edged riffs, horror synths, and suffocating atmosphere , Electrocutioner take cues from East Coast thrash legends like Slayer , Whiplash , and Exorcist , while crafting their own modern vision of thrash metal steeped in dread and cinematic scope.

The trio— Mark Pursino (guitar/vocals/synth), Rich Nieves (bass), and Tyler Bogliole (drums)—continue to evolve their sound on Harbinger , promising a leaner, darker, and more ferocious attack than their 2023 debut False Idols .
