Prepare to ride through storm and steel once more — Italian power fantasy metal warriors CRYSTAL SKULL return with their highly anticipated new full-length album Arcane Tales , out June 25, 2025 via Underground Symphony Records .

Following the critically praised 2020 debut Ancient Tales , Arcane Tales continues the epic saga within the enchanted realm of Arendal. Melding the galloping spirit of Teutonic power/speed metal with soaring melodies and thunderous riffs, the album picks up where its predecessor left off—delivering blazing storytelling and battle-hardened anthems steeped in the glory of ‘80s and ‘90s metal legends.

Founded by multi-instrumentalist Claudio , CRYSTAL SKULL was born out of a deep devotion to the classic era of Germanic heavy metal—worshiping the likes of Helloween , Rage , Scanner , and Blind Guardian . What began as a solo endeavor in 2007 has now evolved into a formidable full-band force.

Now joined by drummer Fabio Tomba (Silverbones), powerhouse vocalist Lorenzo Nocerino (Silverbones, Destination 5-11), and newly added guitarist Alessandro Visintin (Moonchild, Sabbathage), CRYSTAL SKULL charges forward with renewed might and sharper steel.

Recorded by the band in their own studio and mixed and mastered by Alberto Melinato ( Moonlight Haze, Teodasia ) at Bridge Produzioni Audio Studios , Arcane Tales preserves the raw energy of old-school metal while leveling up in both scope and power. The release is once again brought to life by the legendary artwork of illustrator Fabio Babic ( Dragonero – Bonelli ), cementing CRYSTAL SKULL’s status as true torchbearers of fantasy metal.

The lead single “Stormbreaker” will serve as the album’s opening battle cry, released alongside a lyric video and available on all digital platforms.

The band also contributed the exclusive track “ Dragons & Steel ” to Underground Symphony’s 30th anniversary compilation , featuring Alessandro Visintin on second guitar—now a full-time member of the band. A standalone single expanding on the “Dragons & Steel” tale is already in the works, as CRYSTAL SKULL sets its sights on crafting the climactic third chapter of the saga.

Arcane Tales will be released as a deluxe limited-edition digipack CD and across all major streaming platforms .
