FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Metal Shock Finland Spotlights Ghosts of Atlantis as They Unleash Mythic New Single “Melkin’s Tale” – Out July 25, 2025
Witch County, UK – Acclaimed UK symphonic metal force Ghosts of Atlantis have been featured by Metal Shock Finland as they prepare to release their latest single, “Melkin’s Tale”, on July 25, 2025. The track marks a bold new chapter for the band, diving deep into Arthurian legend with a cinematic blend of myth, melody, and metallic power.
Accompanying the single is an official music video set to premiere on August 1, followed by a main stage performance at Bloodstock Open Air Festival on August 10, 2025 — positioning the band for a dominant summer across both digital and live stages.
Produced by Colin Parks and mixed/mastered by Ronnie Bjornström, “Melkin’s Tale” offers what Metal Shock Finland describes as “a powerful return” — crafted with brutal elegance and rich storytelling. The song unearths the legend of Melkin, a mysterious prophet said to know the final resting place of King Arthur.
With a genre-defying approach that blends symphonic death, melodic black metal, nu metal, and thrash, Ghosts of Atlantis appeal to fans of In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Amorphis, Parkway Drive, Machine Head, and even Metallica.

The band’s pedigree includes ties to Dani Filth’s Devilment, and an impressive resume of touring alongside Fear Factory, Avatar, Belphegor, Hate, Batushka, and Butcher Babies. Their music has also crossed over into cinema, with placements in Netflix’s Witch and Lionsgate’s One Ranger, cementing Ghosts of Atlantis as a creative force in both the music and film worlds.
“This mythically inspired record brims with deathly symphonic assaults and choruses to rival Dimmu Borgir’s best sing-along moments — a rollercoaster ride of brutal extravagance.”
— Metal Hammer
