UNMERCIFUL to Headline Big Island Metal Bash 2 in Hawaii – New Album Devouring Darkness Out Now

Relentless death metal juggernaut UNMERCIFUL is set to bring their sonic brutality to the islands as they headline Big Island Metal Bash 2 in Hilo, Hawaii this fall. The Topeka, KS-based outfit will top the bill on the second day of the festival, held October 11-12 at Hilo Town Market , alongside acts such as Pessimist , The Behest of Serpents , and more.

This special performance marks part of the band’s ongoing campaign in support of their latest full-length record, Devouring Darkness , which is out now on Willowtip Records and streaming everywhere.

A New Chapter of Devastation – Devouring Darkness

UNMERCIFUL’s fourth studio album, Devouring Darkness , is a ferocious declaration of intent, packed with ten tracks of searing violence, feral energy, and technical carnage. Featuring blistering blast beats , precision kick drum assaults , and crushing riffs , the album is a return to primal death metal ferocity.

This record also marks the return of guitarist Jeremy Turner and introduces Josh Riley on vocals, adding even more venom to UNMERCIFUL’s already lethal sound. Devouring Darkness was engineered and produced by Clinton Appelhanz at Waveworks Studio and mastered by legendary audio wizard Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal). The striking artwork was created by Santiago Francisco Jaramillo .

Upcoming Shows & Band Update

Before their Hawaiian appearance, UNMERCIFUL will host an official album release show on June 20 at Warehouse on Broadway in Kansas City, MO. The event will also feature Torn The Fuck Apart , Garoted , and Hossferatu .
