KISS's Setlist For 'End Of The Road' Tour Will Be Expanded To 25 Songs, Says PAUL STANLEY

KISS frontman Paul Stanely has told the Associated Press in a new interview that the setlist for the band's "farewell" tour, dubbed "One Last Kiss: End Of The Road World Tour" , will be expanded from the recent 16 songs to 25. He added that KISS has "thrown away every piece of hardware that we used on any of the previous tours and created a completely new show."

Stanley also once again said that the tour could include appearances by former members.

"I wouldn't discount any possibilities," he said. "I learned long ago to never say never. Would I negate the possibility of former members making appearances? Absolutely not. I don't know in what capacity."

"One Last Kiss: End Of The Road World Tour" will launch in early 2019 and will likely last two or three years, according to Stanley .

As most fans remember, back in 2000 and 2001, KISS already performed a "Farewell Tour" . The trek played 142 shows over five legs, covering North America, Japan, and Australia and was the final tour with the original lineup of Stanley , Gene Simmons (bass, vocals), Peter Criss (drums) and Ace Frehley (guitar). But the band returned in 2003 for a co-headlining tour with AEROSMITH and has remained steady road warriors.

KISS 's current lineup includes Stanley , Simmons , guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer .

Rumors of KISS 's final run of live shows gained strength several months ago following the news that the band was attempting to trademark the phrase "The End Of The Road." An application from KISS was filed in February to the United States Patent and Trademark Office , which means that the band could use it in connection with "live performances by a musical band."
