SUICIDAL TENDENCIES Unleash Ferocious New Single "Adrenaline Addict" Ahead of Metallica Tour

California crossover thrash and hardcore punk icons SUICIDAL TENDENCIES have returned with a blistering new single, "Adrenaline Addict." Accompanied by an official visualizer, the track is a full-throttle, high-energy blast that perfectly captures the band's legendary mix of aggression, attitude, and unapologetic authenticity. You can watch the visualizer now on their official platforms.

The release of "Adrenaline Addict" marks an exciting new chapter for the band, who are set to embark on the 2025 North American leg of METALLICA's "M72" world tour. Kicking off on April 19 in Syracuse, New York, the tour will see SUICIDAL TENDENCIES sharing the stage with one of metal’s biggest names, bringing their frenetic energy to stadiums across the continent.

The 2025 lineup of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES is a powerful mix of legacy and new blood. Founding vocalist Mike Muir leads the charge alongside longtime guitarist Dean Pleasants and Ben Weinman of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN fame. Tye Trujillo, son of METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo, holds down the low end, while Jay Weinberg, formerly of SLIPKNOT, brings his thunderous drumming to the table as the newest member.

In a candid press conference during Hellfest 2023 in Clisson, France, Muir reflected on the band's creative future and hinted at what's to come:

"I kind of said... I don't enjoy making records, because it's like a full-on mental fuck to me... But now having Ben and Jay in the band… One of the first things Jay did after we did a couple shows, he's just like, 'Dude, I wanna fucking make a record.'"

He continued, "Ben was like, 'When I was 12 years old and I heard SUICIDAL, it spoke to me... I wanna do a record like that.' Obviously, having Tye, Robert's son, in there—Robert’s like, 'Dude, you guys need to make a record.' So I think that we’re definitely leaning towards doing it."

Muir also emphasized the band’s commitment to authenticity over trends:

"We’ll do a record that people probably will not like, and I will be very happy… But I think that years from now, people will go, like, 'That’s a fucking really badass record.'"

"Adrenaline Addict" is the first taste of this new era—one built not just on nostalgia, but on the raw creative fire that made SUICIDAL TENDENCIES pioneers in the first place.

The band’s last full-length release, "Still Cyco Punk After All These Years" (2018), reimagined Muir’s 1996 solo record Lost My Brain! (Once Again) and featured founding SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo.

In 2023, the band marked the 40th anniversary of their iconic debut album with celebratory shows across the U.S. and Australia, proving their enduring influence and ability to incite circle pits across generations.

Now with "Adrenaline Addict" ripping through speakers and a massive tour with METALLICA on the horizon, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES are not just back—they're coming for blood.

Stay tuned for more updates as the band barrels toward what may be their most defiant and explosive era yet. Cyco's back, and they’re addicted to adrenaline.
